The school opens in April and closes by March.

 

School Hours

Nursery, L KG & U KG: Monday to Saturday: 7:50 am to 12:00 Noon.

STD: 1 & Above: Monday to Friday: 7:50 am to 2:30 pm.

Saturday: 7:50 am to 12:00 Noon

  1. Children should be in school 5 minutes before the bell.
  2. At 8:00 am the school gate will be closed and shall not be opened thereafter. Hence the school is not responsible for students who don’t reach in time.

Office Hours

The school office will be opened on all working days from 8:00 am to 2:30pm. The Principal will be available from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. No school business will be transacted on holidays. All school business will be transacted in the school office only.

 

School Uniform

On all class days and at school function, children are expected to wear the uniform prescribed.

 

Uniform for Boys

 

  1. Red checkered shirt with school badge and light brown colour pants (Nursery to Std II half pant and class IV & above full pant).
  2. Black shoes and white socks.
  3. Cream and blue colour belt.
  4. Navy blue Sweater in winter.
  5. Light brown colour Tie.

 

Uniform for Girls

 

  1. Cream colour blouse.
  2. Red checkered ‘V neck tunic with school badge.
  3. Cream and blue colour belt.
  4. Black shoes and white socks.
  5. Navy blue Sweater in winter.
  6. Light brown colour Tie.

All the students will wear white uniform on Saturday and on Wednesday sports uniform only for STD I and above.

N.B: Students must come to school with full school uniform. If, for some reason a student has no uniform, he/she should bring a note of excuse from his/her parents guardians.

 

School Fees

  • The fees for all the classes should be paid termly and not monthly installment. Receipts will be issued after the payment.

a. First Installment: Admission fees to any class by 15 of April. Tuition fees to be paid between April 15 to June 25.

b. Second Installment: Between July 01 to September 25.

c. Third Installment: Between October 01 to December 15.

d.Fourth Installment: Between January 01 to March 15.

  • Tuition fees are charged for the twelve months of the year.
  • Parents are requested to preserve the receipts issued to them and produce them as a proof of payment fess, if demanded.
  • Student shall not be allowed to sit for half-yearly and annual examination unless all dues are

N.B. No reminder will be sent regarding payment of school fees unless the deadline for payment is over. Timing for school fee payment will be between 8:45 am to 12:00pm on all the working days.

 

A word to Parents

Remember that education begins at home. A joint effort by the school and the parents will alone help your child to reach the desired goal for the all-round development. We request you to go through the following guidelines and abide by them.

  • Kindly provide basic amenities at home and create an atmosphere conductive to study.
  • Please inculcate in your child from childhood itself love for order and punctuality, sense of cleanliness, spirit of discipline, hard work, good behavior and self-reliance.
  • Avoid taking your children for tours, functions and pilgrimages during school days as it hamper their study.
  • Students who are sick should not be sent to school even on test days. No half-day leave will be granted.
  • The Parents/Guardians are expected to meet the teachers on every Parents-Teachers Meet.
  • The Parents/Guardians may meet the teacher whenever they are called with the prior permission from the principal. Parents/Guardian and others may not see pupils or their teachers during school hours without the permission granted by the principal.
  • Birthday celebrations in school are not allowed. Expensive sweets/chocolate or things are not allowed to distribute in order to maintain equality among all children.
  • Games and physical training are compulsory, unless a doctor’s certificate is produced.
  • The Principal will keep in touch with the parents or guardians of those who are backward and don’t show any improvement, or whose attendance is very irregular or conduct unsatisfactory. The names of those students are removed from the rolls after intimation to their parents or guardians. The decision of the principal in this matter shall be final.
  • Letters to student addressed to the school are subject to scrutiny by the Principal.
  • All corresponded regarding the student should be addressed to the Principal and not to the class teachers. Students are not allowed to give personal gifts to the teachers.

  • You are requested to see the remarks if any, made in the hand book and home-assignment book by the teachers and glance through the books and answer papers of your children from time to time.
  • When writing to the school concerning your child you should mention the name, the class and division of your child.
  • Kindly read the rules thoroughly and abide by them for the smooth running of the school and the better growth of your child.

Disciplinary Rules for the Student

  • Students must attend school regularly. No leave of absence shall be granted, except for serious reasons. Applications for leave should be entered in calendar and the signature of the Principal should be obtained.
  • If a student is absent for more than 5 days due to sickness, the leave letter and medical Certificate should be produced; if not, the student will not be allowed in the class.
  • Prior permission from the principal should be obtained for a leave/s other than health reasons.
  • If a student is absent for a month without leave note and his/her fees are not paid, his/her name shall be struck off rolls.
  • Late coming is not encouraged and is not permitted only on rare occasions. On such occasions it will be entered in the students’ diary and they are not allowed to enter the class till next bell. If the student reaches the school after the roll call, attendance will not be registered.
  • Attendance of 75% throughout the year is a must for promotion.
  • Unit tests and Terminal Examinations are obligation for all students. The marks obtained from these will be considered for promotion to the next class. No one should absent himself/herself for the same. If a student is absent for a test/ examination for any reasons, a new test/re-exam will not be given.
  • Students should be equipped with the necessary stationary requirements (pencils, pen eraser, geometry box, etc.) to avoid disturbance to other students. They also should be responsible for their own belongings. It is not advisable for them to have money or any other valuable article with them. Students are not allowed to use wrist watches in school.
  • A person id judged by his/her manners. Every student shall always greet his/her teachers and elders warmly wherever they meet them. They must behave in a polite manner both in and out of the school. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.
  • It is forbidden to write or scribble on the walls, desks, throw paper or ink about class room or cause any damage to school premises. Damage done must be paid for, at the discretion of the Principal.
  • Students are strictly forbidden to speak any language other than English in the school. Those unwilling to abide by the same will ne punished. They are also forbidden to enter other class rooms during intervals.
  • No text books or other papers are to be brought into the examination hall. Student found copying or using unfair means during the examination or discovers subsequently will be dealt severely.
  • No fancy items of any kind, no books/periodicals or pictures of an objectionable nature should not be brought to the school.
  • Students must be clean, tidy and modest in their person and dress. They must come daily in their proper school uniform, even on their birthdays.
  • The students should bring their school calendar daily. In case they lose their copy of the calendar, another can be obtained from the school office on payment.
  • Every student is encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities, for their holistic\ development. The whole school is divided in to four houses namely Daffodils (yellow), Pansies (purple), Roses (red) and Shamrocks (green). Competition are organizes on the inter-house system to encourage team spirit.
